Purpose

This example creates a custom set of dance moves that includes both standard moves and custom moves. It will teach you how to trigger standard gamepad functions using a Scratch program.

Although you could also accomplish this by using the gamepad Record/Play features (R1/R2 buttons), using a Scratch program to create motions gives you more control than manually driving the robot, and you also have the option of adding custom motions that are not possible to do using just the default gamepad buttons.

Code

Explanation

  • WHEN GREEN FLAG CLICKED: This block means that the program will start running when the green flag button (upper right corner of the scratch screen) is clicked. It just gives you a simple way to start the program.
