How do you make a new design? You could start with our STL files (files meant to be sliced and printed on a 3D printer) and use an application that can editing existing STL files. a There are many free apps available that can do this, such as openscad and blender.  You could also go to OnShape.com and search for our source files. Just search for "Vorpal Combat Hexapod" and you'll find them. OnShape.com is a professional level CAD system for 3D modelling, and you can use it without cost as long as you make your designs public.

If you have used our open source files to derive a cool hexapod design, new attachment, or improvement, send email to info@vorpalrobotics.com with a picture, your name and city, and any other information about what inspired you to create it! If you don't want to submit your full name, it's fine to just give us your first name and initial, or even make it anonymous if you wish.
